It is a three days camp (13-15th Nov, 2017; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) offering free blood sugar checking for screening, BMI assessment, brief clinical consultation by expert physicians, assessment of complications, education by qualified educators, and free medicine.
The activity will also include an awareness walk for general public, as well as a press meeting.
Prof Dr Eice Muhammad, Chairman BOM, KMSMC will inaugurate the camp as well as he’ll be the chief guest of Press briefing ceremony.
This activity is being sponsored by Al-Khidmat foundation, Sialkot, as well as being supported by a number of pharmaceutical companies.
Contrary to other similar activities in town on this occasion, this activity at KMSMC will cover a broad range of aspects in diabetes care as well as diabetes awareness, and it will stretch out to three days instead of one day only.
Theme of this year’s day is “Women and diabetes”. Our education will especially target the female population to strengthen themselves in their role in management of their own diabetes but also care of their family in terms of effective lifestyle modification.
In’sha’Allah, this event will set a good legacy in improving care of diabetic patients.
