Department of Paediatrics

Department of the pediatrics is state of the art with round the clock facilities of Pediatric Emergency, Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU and General Pediatric ward. Apart from undergraduate teaching and training the department is providing postgraduate training in FCPs and MD. More than 20 postgraduate trainees have qualified their FCPS / MCPS/MD exams and now providing their services in different institutes at National and International level . The department regularly conducts "CME Activities" for grooming of residents and faculty. Conducting a quality research is another most focused component in evidence of this department has published multiple research papers in national and international journals. The department always leads in improving the delivery of health services for children. Currently with the help of local philanthropists a state of the art 250 beds pediatric block is under construction which in addition to increasing bed capacity will also provide supra specialty services for pediatric patients.
